KSB SISTO-20 Diaphragm Valve

KSB-SISTO diaphragm valve features a fully sealed design for the valve body diaphragm, ensuring that the medium does not come into contact with the metal components of the valve body and preventing external leakage. The diaphragm adopts a wedge-shaped design, which prevents the medium from corroding the fixing bolts. When tightening the bolts, a tightening limiter is included to avoid over-tightening or loosening of the diaphragm, thereby extending the diaphragm's lifespan and preventing leakage issues. Traditional diaphragm seals use a flat design, where tightening the valve body and bonnet fixing bolts can affect the movement of the diaphragm, while loosening them may lead to leakage. SISTO diaphragm valves are dedicated to research for harsh working conditions, with many unique design patents tailored to the highly corrosive process requirements of industries such as chlor-alkali and steel mill pickling lines.

Structural Features
For applications requiring frequent operation, SISTO employs a floating diaphragm mechanism (with internal parts made of Titanium) to prevent stress concentration and extend the diaphragm's service life;
In fully automated control systems, pressure fluctuations and water hammer caused by varying valve switching speeds are one of the main factors affecting the lifespan of electrolyzer diaphragms (other related factors include brine concentration, temperature, flow rate, etc.). Based on this, SISTO can provide necessary valve accessories to meet customer needs and address the requirements of automated control;
For dirty fluids, the SISTO-KB straight-through diaphragm valve can be used. For general impurities with concentrations below 15%, a weir-type design is suitable, while for concentrations above 15%, a straight-through design is recommended;
KSB diaphragm valves can be used as control valves with a regulating ratio of 5:1 (when equipped with an intelligent positioner);
